Anarchist
anti-nationalist Philhellinism
Here, I want to collect pieces of political thought which try to
develop and merge into an unified approach to develop and strengthen
German-Greek international anarchist networking to aid in large-scale
resisting of upcoming predictable fascist tendencies, particularly in
German society, while also addressing spill-over and cross-contamination
effects between German and Greek societies and political structures.
I should also mention where each part of this comes from:
-
Philhellinism
-
I have a strong connection to Greek culture, and believe this can be
leveraged to improve the political developments in both regions.
-
Anti-nationalism
-
Past philhellinism was for a very long time extremely nationalist, and,
worst of all, was used as justification of many massacres. Additionally,
this is important to avoid the mistake of the "Antideutsche" (just with
Greece instead of Israel), which tend to ignore most of the catastrophic
developments in the favored country, effectively pairing a sort of
anti-nationalism in one country with nationalism in another one.
Therefore, unconditional anti-nationalism is necessary.

Anarchism
-
Across all contemporary political ideologies, anarchism appears to be
almost the only one that continually remains optimistic and productive
even in the face of massive challenges (like the current rise of fascism
in Germany and surrounding countries). Most others have stopped offering
anything that could still be called an utopia, and general political
outlook appears pretty close to nihilism and a disbelief even in the
ability to preserve the status quo (except for luxories), let alone
improve upon it.
